In line with our commitment to providing a trusted and secure marketplace, we have implemented a comprehensive content complaint and review process. This policy outlines the steps for reporting content, how we investigate complaints, and the actions we may take in response to violations.

1. Reporting Content

Any user can report content that appears to violate Somymy’s platform rules or any applicable laws. Reports can be submitted via the “Report” button available on every listing or post. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Illegal or prohibited content;
  • Content published without proper consent;
  • Content that breaches our community standards or terms of use.

Reports may be submitted anonymously. All reports are handled confidentially and are reviewed seriously by our moderation team.

2. Investigation Procedure

Once a report is submitted, our internal moderation team initiates a formal review within seven (7) business days. The process includes:

  • Opening a case file for internal tracking;
  • Collecting all relevant evidence, such as uploaded metadata, communication logs, and screenshots;
  • Requesting testimonies or additional context from the involved parties, when applicable.

Our goal is to ensure a fair, impartial, and thorough review of every complaint.

3. Review Outcome and Actions

Following a complete investigation, Somymy will take one of the following actions:

  • If the reported content does not violate any rules or legal standards, it will be reinstated and no sanctions will be applied to the creator.
  • If the content violates site rules or is determined to be illegal, it will be removed immediately. The creator will receive a formal warning.
  • If a creator receives two consecutive warnings, their account will be suspended for a period of 30 days.
  • Repeat or severe violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.

4. Consent-Based Complaints

All merchants on Somymy are obligated to uphold strict content consent policies. Any person who is identifiable in content published on the platform has the right to request its removal and initiate a formal complaint. Our platform ensures the following:

  • All content complaints based on lack of consent will be thoroughly investigated;
  • If consent is found to be absent or void under applicable law, the content will be permanently removed;
  • The right to appeal is guaranteed to the person depicted in the content.

If a dispute arises over the outcome of a complaint, Somymy will ensure the matter is referred to an independent and neutral resolution body. The decision of the body will be respected by all parties involved, and all merchants are expected to comply with the result.

5. Misuse of the Complaints Process

While we encourage users to report violations responsibly, false or malicious use of the complaints system will not be tolerated. Users who knowingly submit fraudulent reports may face account penalties, including suspension or permanent removal.
